Career & Technical Education

Career & Technical Education (CTE) prepares students to be college- and career-ready by providing core academic skills, technical training, and workplace skills, all in a hands-on context.

Regardless of whether students are headed to college or the workforce, this education offers clear pathways to industry certifications, postsecondary certificates and degrees. In fact, college-bound students can get job experiences to help them define their career plans, identify an appropriate course of study and help pay for tuition.

The Washington County Career and Technical Education Center is an excellent resource for our high school students to expand their educational experience and prepare them for future careers.
