Exciting summer school project alert!
A group of our summer school students harnessed the power of the sun and made the tastiest s'mores ever with their own solar ovens!

We were thrilled to announce... that Officer Ramirez, amazing bike patrol officer from the Washington County Sheriff's Office, visited our school to share his insights and experiences! He spoke about the unique role of bike patrol officers in keeping our neighborhoods safe.
It was an incredible opportunity for our students to learn from a real-life hero and gain a deeper understanding of law enforcement and community engagement. Our visit was informative, engaging, and inspiring for all!
A very special thank you to our School Resource Officer, A. Debusk, for helping to coordinate the K9 Unit and Bike Patrols visits.

Mr. Dale, the dedicated Student Support Coordinator for Communities in Schools, recently collaborated with our summer school students for a time filled with creativity and friendly competition.
With the goal of combining fun and learning, Mr. Dale led the students in an exciting Lego car-building activity. Assembling bricks and gears, our students used their imaginations and engineering skills to construct unique vehicles that were bound to impress. After putting the finishing touches on their creations, the students were ready to put their engineering to the test by racing them on the track.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Dale for his dedication and the incredible experience he provided for our summer school students. Together, they built memories and raced towards a brighter future, one Lego car at a time.

Today our students read about the American Flag and created crafts for Flag Day.

The Washington County Public Library made a special visit to our school and it was an absolute blast! They brought along captivating songs, enchanting stories, and the best part? Each and every student got a FREE book to take home! Thank you for your visit.
